Welcome to Kanaka Outrigger Canoe Club!

We’re excited to have you join us on the water.

All guest paddlers are required to complete our digital Liability Waiver before participating in any practice.

Once your waiver is submitted, you’re eligible for five complimentary guest paddles. This gives you the opportunity to experience our club, meet our coaches and paddlers, and learn the basics of outrigger canoeing in a supportive and welcoming environment.

 What happens next? 

After your waiver is completed:

• You will paddle as a guest sponsored by a current club member

• If you were not referred by a fellow member, the club will assign a sponsor to you

• You will be added to our online scheduling and communications app, Spond

• A guest paddle date will be scheduled for you

 After completing your five guest paddles, if there is a mutual fit, you may be placed on a membership waiting list when a member slot becomes available.

Please note that completion of five guest paddles does not guarantee membership, as availability depends on club capacity and openings.

Important note for first-time paddlers

To ensure safety, proper coaching, and a great experience for everyone, walk-on participation is not permitted.

Guest paddlers may join practices only after completing the waiver and guest process outlined above, and once a paddle date has been confirmed.
